What is SexTalk4Grandkids?
In many communities discussions surrounding sexuality and sexual health are considered taboo. SexTalk4Grandkids workshops provide a platform for gogos to learn about HIV and Aids, as well as develop essential communication skills related to sex in a safe and supportive environment.
Project Aim
This project utilizes Marina Appelbaum’s book HIV & AIDS, as a valuable resource to educate gogos about the importance of safe sexual health practices for both themselves and the children in their care. By engaging with the book's content, gogos will gain the knowledge and confidence to openly and honestly discuss issues of sex and sexuality with their grandchildren, fostering a more informed and healthier future for the next generation.
