The Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Limited (WHC) is wholly-owned by the University of the Witwatersrand. GOGOs who complete training have access to Sasol Birds, Young Explorers Frogs and Mammals for Beginners We hope these will help to further expand the Gogos’ knowledge of the natural word and its diverse inhabitants, while supporting their endeavour to use and operate digital devices.
TrustBlu Foundation is an independent non-profit organisation that aims to fund youth development, SMME development and sports programmes in South Africa. Founded by Blue Label Telecoms “BLT” in 2019, the Foundation seeks to promote digital inclusion, fund flagship programmes, and leverage the funding, technology, expertise and reach of Blue Label. The Group has entrepreneurial roots and has always had a deep commitment to community development and philanthropy. By partnering with goGOGOgo, we are bringing technology to grandmothers so they can assist their grandchildren to be successful. BLT has donated iPads and SIM cards to enable this project.
Book Dash Book Dash believes that every child should own one hundred books by the age of five. To that end, we gather creative professionals who volunteer to create new, African storybooks that anyone can freely translate, print and distribute. In this way, we have vastly reduced the costs involved in putting high-quality books in children’s hands and heart
The Subjex MasterClass videos are a series of online educational videos providing learners with quick, easy access to comprehensive IEB and DBE syllabus revision and exam preparation. They are compiled by expert educators from Redhill School and tailored to the needs of South African learners. Currently, MasterClass videos cover the Grade 12 DBE syllabi in Accounting, Dramatic Arts, English, IsiZulu, Information Technology, Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy and Physical Science. The videos are available online at subjex.io. Subjex has partnered with goGOGOgo to provide gogos and the children in their care with free access to our MasterClass videos.
